I am a first time Android user and after having used Nokia for years I decided to try out Android and after much googling I finally narrowed it down to this phone mainly because of its size and design. I hate huge phones.

I’ve been using it only for a couple of days so I can’t really pass judgement on this phone but so far it has been a delight to use.

For me the 4GB limit wasn’t much of a hindrance since I mainly use my phone for calls/texting/browsing and the occasional use of the camera . Any photos I take i usually transfer them to my laptop anyway. And yes the camera button is a bit stiff but I can also use the touch screen button to take pictures.

I very rarely take videos on my phones anyway so I don’t really care if the video quality is average. The photos though turn out great. Voice quality is good and the music player/headset are decent enough.

My only annoyance at this point is that I can’t unistall some preinstalled apps. Apparently I can remove them only if I root the phone and I’m not going to do that for now.

Why do Sony now gerderize phones? So it is small, and has a pink tab by default, is that enough?

Firstly, yes this device has a nice screen and is compact. Had it ICS installed on it, I would understand their being no card slot (as it seems many phones including the HTC one X , have no card slot, but this is an unforgivable issue on this device.

If you install maybe a couple of movies or a few music tracks, and a couple of games that is it, no more room. I had one of these, returned it and tracked down a xperia mini pro for £99….a better choice by far. It has a card slot, is the white version and very stylish, more compact and has too a fantastic screen.

They should have installed a 16Gb memory module, I guess it is 8Gb partitioned, and by the time all the bloatware is installed I think it showed just over £Gb free……avoid like the plague, this device is useless unless you just need to make call, text and the odd photo, and for that you can get for £15!

Also, I have to say since the dumping of Ericsson, Sony seems to make one style of phone in various guises, how odd, and this technically is the worse!
