Following some impressive releases from the likes of HTC and Sony Ericsson in recent months, Samsung have hit back with their own new handset after the company revealed the Galaxy S.
Powered by the Android operating system, the smartphone possesses a huge four inch screen that contains Super AMOILED technology. According to Samsung, this means that users are set for a much clearer picture, with the technology allowing for a wider viewing angle plus more vivid colours.
From a technical viewpoint, the phone contains a 1GHz processor which is something that was seen as vital if Samsung were to match their rivals recent efforts. Other features include GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, while the camera is 5MP with a forward facing video camera.
One of the biggest plus points of the phone appears to be the size, which can only be described as sleek and slender. With the dimensions reading 64.2 x 122.4 x 9.9mm and the weight being 118g, the phone will comfortably fit pockets.
