The Galaxy SIII is over-rated. Every reviewer keeps banging on about quad core when it’s completely unnecessary for a phone. Dual core will run everything a phone uses with no issues so what’s the point.

I still find screens on the Sony phones look better than Amoled not that Amoled is bad, but it’s hardly groundbreaking.

The design is lacklustre as well – I would actually go as far as to call it ugly.

  2. The problem with the S3 and all newer phones with a built in sdcard and an external sdcard, is that most app writers tell you it is Samsung’s fault. It isn’t. There are two addresses.

    /mnt/sdcard
This is the internal card and post app manufacturers only allow their data to access this address.

    /mnt/extSdCard
Note case. This is the address to any external card the user adds.

It is up to the app writer whether he wants to rewrite the addressing part of his app if it is a free app.

However, never pay for an app if the app writer hasn’t allowed backup to the external card. If you do so, then more fool you.

HTC managed to get away with this by not allowing users to add an exrernal SDCard However, more phones will appear on the parket with both an internal and an external card.
